Position Title: HR Manager (Code: HRM)
Overall Job Purpose: The Human Resources Manager is responsible to guide and manage the overall provisions of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company.

The Human Resources manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s human resources function goals.

The Human Resources manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources support staff; reports to the Head of Operations; assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Man power planning, Recruiting and Staffing keeping in view the financial objectives of the company
  • Career management, Performance Management and improvement systems
  • Employment and compliance to regulatory requirements regarding employees
  • Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
  • Policy development and documentation as per company guidelines and strategy
  • Employee relations and grievance management
  • Company employee and community communication
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • General Employee services and counseling
  • Handling communication with legal counsel for any employment and work force related contracts and legal matters
  • Represent the company in external HR forums and related events
Primary Objectives:
  • Manage HR Function within the organization’s commercial and strategy framework
  • High employee satisfaction levels and low attrition rate
  • Quick resolution of grievances and issues
  • Timely completion of performance and compensation management (goal setting, reviews, closure etc) and continuous improvement
  • Exceed the hiring targets both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Work towards positioning the company as a best employer in the industry
Required Skills:
  • Strong people oriented skills
  • Excellent communication, diplomatic and organizational skills with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to work under stringent timelines
  • Tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Decent financial and IT skills as related to carry on the HR function
  • Flair for learning and growth in HR function
    Desired Skills:
    • Experience/ Knowledge of HR policies, practices and regulatory requirements of other countries especially US
    • Training from renowned professional institutes in key HR areas/ tools like emotional intelligence, Hays job evaluation, Korn Ferry’s Leadership development solutions etc.
    Qualifications:
    • Masters from a reputed University/ Institute in India/ outside India with a specialization in Human Resources or other related discipline
    • A minimum post qualification experience of 5 years in a reputed company in India/ Abroad where some responsibilities must have been independently discharged
